MAXREVO 1800

MAXREVO 1800 is a premium power supply for supercomputers with high power consumption and multiple graphics cards. Six powerful +12V rails and 12 PCI-E connectors provide powerful output without compromising hardware security. MAXREVO 1800 has double efficiency certification for 115V and 230V and meets the 80 PLUS GOLD and 80 PLUS GOLD 230V EU requirements. The patented ENERMAX Turbo Switch design allows the fan speed to be set to a maximum of 3,100 rpm at the touch of a button. This can improve the cooling of critical components by 10-15 °C compared to normal operation and also increases the air flow in the chassis. The high-density PCB design allows the MAXREVO 1800 to provide a housing depth of just 18 cm without compromising efficiency or performance. The special design can even deliver up to 1900 watts of peak power at 230V.

Efficiency

Up to 92% efficiency at 230VAC between 20 and 100% load. The MAXREVO 1800 series is not only 80PLUS Gold (115V), but also 80 PLUS GOLD 230V EU certified. MAXREVO 1800 helps systems to meet the EU eco-design directive 2013 ErP Lot 6 and 2014 ErP Lot 3 (< 0.5W in standby mode) due to a high-efficient 5V standby (+5Vsb) circuitry. Moreover it supports the EU regulation no. 617/2013 demanding amongst others 85% efficiency at 50% load and 82% at 20% and 100% load.

Power

Strong power output of 1800W at 230V and 1600W at 115V in a compact enclosure of only 18 cm depth. The extreme density transformer design of MAXREVO 1800 boosts transformer core utilization rate and reduces overall dimension. The dynamic hybrid transformer topology allows an optimized use of the transformer with less energy loss for a better overall efficiency. A multi-rail design with six 12V rails distributes the power with maximum stability and safety.

DC-to-DC Design

The DC-to-DC design generates the secondary voltages (+5V and +3.3V) from the primary voltage rail (+12V). The positive effect is higher efficiency, clean output voltages (low ripple noise) and a perfect voltage regulation at all loads.

Compact PCB Design

The high-density PCB design allows the MAXREVO 1800 to create a compact enclosure with a depth of only 18 cm and lower drag for better cooling of components.

Cooling

Integrated 13.5cm fan with 9 blades and long lasting ball bearing technology ensures optimized cooling of high performance components.

Turbo Switch Design

For supercomputers, the cooling of components under constant load is one of the most important issues. The patented turbo switch sets the fan speed to the maximum speed of 3100 rpm, which can increase the cooling of critical components by 10-15°C compared to normal operation. The turbo cooling mode allows the power supply to deliver 1800 watts of continuous power at 55°C ambient temperature. The stronger air flow also helps to dissipate the heat inside the chassis.

FMQ Design

The Full-Zone Magnetic Quadrant Transformer design is a high-performance power supply topology which fully utilizes all magnetic quadrants of the main transformer and achieves maximum switching efficiency and rock stable KW output voltage.

Connectivity

The fully modular cable management with sleved cables allows an easy system installation and cable routing and improves the air circulation inside the case. Twelve 6+2P (8P) PCI-E connectors to power mutiple high-end graphics cards.

Compatibility

Intel ATX12V v2.4, compliant with the Intel Power Supply Design Guide for Desktop Platform Form Factors Revision 1.31 April 2013. Full support of the C6/C7 energy-saving functions of Intel processors, first introduced with the Haswell generation. Worldwide compatibility with automatic 100-240VAC input and up to 0.99 with active Power Factor Correction (PFC).
